Kai is the sixth of the seven coordinations in shichidoseven coordinations.
Kai is the full draw or the meeting. Continue the movement started in hiki tori, until full draw is achieved with the yaarrow placed slightly below the cheekbone or level with the mouth. The ya points along the line set up during ashibumifirst coordination in shichido. The kakeglove is just behind the right ear.

At Kai, feel the body in full balance, the meaning of "meeting." Continue breathing naturally. Arms are extended with a sense of being stretched horizontally. Feet and body are rooted vertically. The upper torso and head are uplifted into the circle of balance. It is as if a balloon was expanding outward.
