The target calls, like the sound of a temple bell. Your head turns slowly toward the target, give it your full attention. Find a point on the target, draw a line down to the ground slowly like a spider falling by its silk, or a snowflake falling to earth. Draw that line toward you and extend your left foot out, placing your big toe on the line. Continue to draw that line to your right foot, like a spider swinging on its silk, and step to the line placing your big toe on the line. Your feet are equal distances from your center and angled out at about 45 degrees. Turn your head back to the front and check that the yumi is centered in front of you.
